Aurigen was formed by four experienced Canadian life reinsurance professionals and has implemented a $500 million capital facility to commence operations. We intend to develop ourselves into a prominent, international life reinsurance group starting from a Canadian base. Once the Canadian business is established, the company will explore reinsurance opportunities in other markets, most notably Europe and the US.
